Super Rugby Game of The Week – Round 4

We are BACK! Finally we have found our mojo in this year’s Vodacom Super Rugby with our weekly predictions and now we have to maintain it going forward and climb the SuperBru standings.

To crown things, we even had our preview spot on last week including our prediction of the Chiefs winning by 8 against the Hurricanes, which brings us to our preview for round 4 of this year’s tournament.

For those that have not followed our previews and predictions from when we started this season, we look ahead to what we perceive to be the hardest prediction of the week and give our opinions on what we think are the reasons we are making our prediction for the game in question that specific week.

This week we have identified the match between the Waratahs and Brumbies being a tough one to call purely because we feel these teams should be setting the pace in Australia, yet they are struggling more each passing round.

The Tahs host the Brumbies in the only Australian derby this weekend and so far the Australian Conference looks wide open.

The men from Sydney return home after a two week tour in South Africa where both the Lions and Sharks convincingly beat them and send them packing with nothing to show. With only 4 log points after 3 rounds the Tahs are a very concerned outfit at the moment

The Brumbies are leading the Australian charge on only 6 points to date along with the Reds. They will also be hoping on more success after snatching it at the death against a Force side that should have put the game to bed when they had the chance but the fight the men showed from Canberra might stand them in good faith going into this weekend’s clash in Sydney.

In 2016 the Brumbies won all six games against fellow Australian sides and this weekend they are facing their second derby of the season, can they replicate last year’s performance or will the Waratahs finally get back on track to revive their campaign?

PREDICTION: Brumbies by 2
