Hot Buttered Pirate Rummmm

I’m always on the lookout for something different to try, and this is definitely different with a good kick.  Very delicious and a good way to end an epic night with friends and family.

Serves: 4 or more (depends how thirsty you are)

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1.85 kg butter
  • 1.85 kg icing sugar
  • 1.85 kgbrown sugar
  • 40 ml cinnamon
  • 20 ml nutmeg
  • 3.8 l vanilla ice cream (at room temperature)
  • 250 ml rum
  • to taste boiling water
  • to taste nutmeg

METHOD:

  • Cream together eveything then put in the freezer until needed. (This is known as the batter)
  • To serve add rum (about 25 ml), 4 tablespoons batter (or more) and fill with boiling water to fill cup.
  • Sprinkle with nutmeg and enjoy.
