Werner Kok Becomes ASICS Ambassador

ASICS South Africa is proud to announce that, Springbok Sevens player, Werner Kok, has recently join the ASICS stable as their recent brand ambassador. ASICS are proud Technical Apparel Partner of the Springboks.  Werner will join the likes of Eben Etzebeth, Tendai Mtwariwra, Frans Malherbe, Frankie Horne and Seabelo Senatla.

Werner Kok made his debut for the South African Sevens Team in 2013 during the London Sevens leg, from there Werner went on to become a recent feature within the South African Sevens set-up during the 2013 – 2014 IRB World Sevens Series.  Werner has already achieved some major honours, most noticeably, winning the 2014 Common Wealth Gold medal and finishing the 2015 season as the top tackling while scoring 23 tries in the process –this  lead Werner to be nominated for World Rugby Sevens Player of the Year award for 2015 along with fellow teammate, Seabelo Senatla.
