Crunchie Caramel Tart

If you like something sweet and easy, this is the dessert for you.  I made this dessert for Fathersday and it was a sweet hit with everyone around the table.

Serves 8 – 10

INGREDIENTS:

  • 500 ml fresh cream
  • 2 cans of caramel treat
  • 6 cadbury crunchies
  • 2 packets of tennis biscuits (crushed)

METHOD:

  • Whip cream until stiff peak stage.
  • Add your two cans of caramel, and mix until smooth.
  • Crush your crunchies (i use a meat mallet or a hammer and just hit it a few times, you still want it to be in chunky pieces)
  • Mix 5 crunchies into your cream caramel mixture.
  • Layer the tennis biscuits and caramel mixture until you end off with the caramel mixture.  (you will have about 2 layers of each)
  • Sprinkle the last crunchie over and put in the fridge to set for 4 hours or overnight.
